Welcome to Fremont Brewing!
We are a small, family-owned microbrewery located in the historic Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Fremont is known as the Center of the Universe and is home to artists, fishermen, metal workers, chocolatiers, coffee roasters and of course, beer. Founded in 2008 to brew small-batch artisan beers made with the best local ingredients we can find, Fremont Brewing Company supports family farmers and local artists. We use organic barley from the Okanogan Valley in British Columbia, hops from a 4th generation hop-growing family in the Yakima Valley and water from the Cedar River Watershed in the Cascade Mountains.
You can drink our beer on draft at many fine bars and restaurants in the area -- or pick up a keg or growler to go. Starting a brewery in the midst of the Great Recession is clearly an act of passion. We invite you to come along with us and enjoy that passion -- because beer matters.
