This year’s release of Double Barrel B-Bomb rests for one year in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels and then ages for another year in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels. Double Barrel B-Bomb achieves distinct oak, cacao, leather, toffee, and dark coffee notes from its extended barrel aging and barrel blending. Each barrel contributes a different note, and combining each barrel to create a coherent tone is a distinct art and true pleasure. Please do enjoy this unique barrel-aged ale today but know that Double Barrel B-Bomb will age gracefully for at least another 5 years. Don’t Be Afraid To Be Doubly Abominable.

Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale, Crystal-120, Munich, Roast Barley,Carafa-2, and Chocolate malts with Columbus, Willamette, andUS Goldings hops

Color: Deep black, opaque
Aroma: Caramel, chocolate, molasses, toffee followed with some vanilla, whiskey, dried fruit, oak, licorice/anise & leather
Flavor: Moderately sweet, gentle bitterness and lightly umami.
